I feel good about this game, team plays best when their backs are against the wall .LGR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know what to expect at this point.

On one hand, they seem to be outta gas. They've played a tremendous amount of the most intense, physical hockey in the last 5 weeks . The kids have never played this much in their lives, especially at this level (and I know they're not seeing a ton of ice time, that may be why?), some guys are banged up, and we're playing a team that knows how to win the biggest games.

OTOH, if you count this team out based on the above, you haven't been watching them the past 5 weeks.

LET'S GO RANGERS!!!!!

MSG Pre-PreGame Bleeding Blueshirts Report.

That's the most unenthusiastic I've seen Vally all season and he's usually really optimistic on the teams chances.

I still think Carolina was actually the harder matchup. This series so far in goals is 13-14 and Tampa leads, because of getting the 2 late goals that the Rangers didn't.

Make Messier an honorary captain so he can guarantee a victory.
He did at the ESPN desk in Game 2.

Can Igor pull this out the bag?

Hank is the best goalie ever to wear a Ranger sweater and the better goaltender, no arguments there, however; for the stage, the performance and sheer brilliance of a half an hour of hockey, I have still never seen anything like Mike Richter's show against NJ. Hank willed us through series but that night in 94 remains what it was.

Mess and the guarantee, Matteau and all that followed probably isn't remotely possible if he didn't keep us in with the chance we eventually took.

Not too dramatic to say the history of Ranger hockey changed forever that night. This team isn't the Presidents Trophy winners or the overwhelming favorite to win it all, but as has been talked about, are we absolutely guaranteed to be in this position again in the next five years or so going forward?

Who has the stones to get this back to MSG for the biggest night in a decade? Mika? Bread? An unlikely hero?

Igor?

This has been a tight series. Rangers have been the better team for the majority imo.

Tampa is still here for a reason, it will not be easy. Once again I expect big games from the core 5. Panarin & Igor need to be the best Russians on the ice for us to win. I have faith. LGR.

I think we win tonight. Everyone has pretty much counted us out, just like the first two rounds. Outside of Game 4 each game came down to a couple of bounces. Mike and Igor with big games.
Yea thats the positive I see here. If they were getting blown out in each game at Tampa it's one thing, but If Strome makes the shot and if Game 3 went to OT this series might already be over in the Rangers favor.

Even if you go back to the regular season 2 of the three games vs TB the Rangers won on Mika's 16 second shot and a shootout win. So to be fair this series all year has been fairly even it's just in the regular season the Rangers got the late bounces and so far in this series they have not.
