I think Carolina ties it and loses in OT. In recent years thats been a common theme in elimination games 5 or 6 where it goes to OT and the team up 3-1 or 3-2 wins almost every time

I suspect they are going to give up multiple empty net goals

I know it doesn't have statistical evidence supporting touching it vs. not touching it as it relates to success in the Finals.

But hockey players are very superstitious. I doubt they touch it this year, when they touched it in 2023 and lost but didn't touch it in 2024 and win.
