The biggest enigma is how does a guy go from scoring a unreal hattick in third period of elimination game to being completely invisible for 3 straight games?

Because, truthfully, that was a Carolina implosion as much as anything. Not to take anything away from Kreider personally but their D was horrendous in the 3rd.

Watch the game.......that's total bullshit. Trouba is playing defence on his own. He's stood out tonight because his partner is totally invisible. Also he's been put out their in the toughest situations. This isn't his best game but he's at least doing something. Overall he's been our best Dman these playoffs and it's not even close.

He’s a +2 tonight… Kreider-Mika-Chytil are the ones who’ve been awful. And I get people dont want to criticize Chytil because of the emotional come back story but he has not been impactful at all.

I agree that the top line has sucked but Panarin has also been awful.
