I don't mind the ESPN broadcast as much as some others but Ferraro was really annoying that period.

He tried two separate times to explain exactly what the Reaves penalty was and both times it made no sense.

Why not just say the obvious, which every person who has watched more than three hockey games in their life knows: that entire situation was a carry over from the end of game 1. The refs have clearly decided they don't want those two guys fighting and the best way for them to send that message was to call a penalty on one guy. Matching minors wouldn't have accomplished anything so they flipped a coin and decided it had to be Reaves.

I see no way around it. Guy is so smart, tenacious and quick. There was a play late in period where Reaves offered no support and couldn't keep up with him before they reached the red line. Motte speeds up, ducks a hit attempt, gains the red line and gets it deep. Little things like that he brings are huge.
