I don't think it can be overstated just how important getting Goodrow back has been. That 4th line has been rock-solid with him anchoring it. With Rooney, they were consistently pinned in their own zone and could seemingly never establish a forecheck.

Would I like to see Reaves sit for Hunt? Yes. I think that would be a good move.

However, Reaves has been very serviceable when paired with Motte and Goodrow. He's been skating quite well out there, even.

I really think that Goodrow was quite possibly the best UFA signing last offseason.
