Rangers know they are in a series now.. Florida get pucks out and get pucks in.. Not rocket science

Panthers are playing simple hockey.

- if easy breakouts not available; get the f***ing puck out and then restructure making entries difficult and forcing dump ins

- rangers are trying to enter the zone with possession all the time and have no forecheck; rangers gotta adjust or it will be florida taking the series in 5 games or so

It;s hilarious that some Rangers homers were recently trying to tell me that Fox is a top 2 D in the league. He has been invisible on the score sheet these playoffs and his defensive zone which has never been that good to begin with is actually less than good.
He's definitely hurt. But alright.

A sweep for Rangers, meaning the unfortunate Ranger fans who had bought tickets to games 5 and 7 won't get to go? Agreed....sucks to be them. Oh well - maybe they can get tickets for the finals instead as a consolation prize...

How did Flames management drive Chucky away? You guys just came off a monster season.
Have to go back further. After his ELC was up, Tkachuk wanted to sign a longterm contract (6+ years).

It was Treliving that opted for the short term bridge because he didn't want to trade Frolik to make the cap work. Frolik ended up falling off a cliff and being traded 6 months later anyway.

It's basic common sense in the cap era that you lock up your elite young talent to max term contracts the moment you can. It's idiots that don't understand the cap that opt for bridge deals to save cap room so that they can waste it on the likes of James Neal.

And hopefully they’ll stay healthy. I still think that Dallas is the team to beat. Honestly, it feels like the conference finals are completely redundant this year.

Dallas and Florida were in the final 4 just last year, it’s definitely one of them winning the cup. Teams who have been deep recently have a big advantage because of the fresh experience. Oilers and Rangers haven’t been to the cup final in a long time.

Ahh good ol Tre. But if they had went long term instead of bridge, wouldn’t chucky have wanted out after that?
