I apologize for bringing that up at this time, but it's just something that really bothered me, given how the diehards of MSG are practically legendary in their fanaticism.

I'm a diehard, since 1968. Thats not a typo. I sit among the "suits" down in the expensive seats. Why? because I can afford to, and I happen to enjoy the experience there much more so than sitting in the upper bowl. Call me crazy but I enjoy bringing my kids to games and knowing they wont get beer thrown on them or hear all sorts of foul language. Talk smack all you want about the "suits", but most of us are indeed diehards and know the game as much as anyone, we just don't act like immature punks.

I agree with your point in principle, but am extremely disappointed that you did not once refer to the upper bowl fans as "Plebeians"

One thing I noticed at the Garden is that there are quite a few fans who get upset when people are cheering and standing up in front of them, not only during gameplay but during play stoppages as well.

I get that standing and cheering may block your view of the Jumbotron for a few seconds, but it's the Conference Finals and if the fans want to make noise and act rowdy, it should not be discouraged.

Here's a little food for thought I was just looking up the refs and linesmen for tonight ......out of the 4 officials 3 are from Quebec (both refs an one linesmen) and the last linesman is from Saskatchewan ......amazing how we don't have an American Ref or linesmen working this series
