I expect Montreal to come out like they did in game two. They're going to really attack in front of their own crowd and try to build up a lot of energy off of that. The Rangers are going to have to withstand it--maybe try to break someone free in the neutral zone for a quick strike.

We need a smarter game--and we need to stay out of the penalty box as much as possible. At least most of the penalties we took the other night were well deserved--Canadiens players embellishing or not. They will fall like bowling pins if we give them reason to or unless the refs decide to make an example of someone early--I wouldn't count on that.

Hopefully we'll win it in front of their own crowd--get some rest and then go on to the finals.

“@SeanFitz_Gerald: Carey Price is in full gear. Working out on the ice, an hour before the Canadiens are scheduled to skate in Brossard. A lot of side-to-side.”

anyone see that sick nbcsn commercial for the game? it was like the city of new york is building a wall...shows the city and a shadow coming over the city. then they show a bunch of sick henke saves and the commercial goes on to say that the wall is named lundqvist.

That's the basic butterfly/recovery drill. He's do it VERY slow and gingerly. Also, not using his injured leg to recover from. Not to mention, he's at a slow pace. Being off the ice for that long will wreck your conditioning.

I would venture to say there is no way he will be ready tonight to play, but potentially later in the series.

Yea It sounds famaliar, I think I caught it this weekend, which is somewhat of a blur lol.

Luckily, Montreal was not ready for Game 1. Since then, pretty even.

Hopefully it ends tonight.

Twenty year anniversary of Matteau. Rangers won the 4th game of that series on this date. St. Louis scored on the 20th anniversary of the Messier game. Omens.

He looked exhausted doing that drill.

Yes, like I said. He's been off the ice for a while, that drill is a killer on your legs when you haven't been on the ice for a long time. No way he could play tonight.

i assume this was filmed by Ulf and/or Slats?

As of midnight tonight the Rangers could be in the Stanley Cup Finals... that alone should get everyone pretty pumped up.

Definitely have to raise their level.

Come out fast and get the first goal. We saw in the Pitt series what can happen when you give a team hope and let them linger.
