Does anyone know of a stream that works on phones? I have a galaxy s3. I have duty today, so this will bemy only option for watching the game today .

This might change after a game or two, but this series feels much more businesslike (by both teams) than any series I can remember the Rangers participating in since 1997.

The big knock on him in Columbus was "he's not surrounded by a good team." Once he went to NYR everyone said "now he'll really shine"

But the reality seems to be "Nash isn't a big game player"

Which will certainly be galvanized if he continues to struggle in the G column.

Of course I'll be exstatic if we win despite him not producing... But he will still be labeled as someone who turtles on the big stage.

Tho you may be correct in saying the two things (NYR winning/him scoring goals) may not be shackled to each other... It will be tougher to have one without the other tho.

It's funny. There was an international tourney about 5 or so years ago (don't remember which one) and I thought Nash was the best player in it.

Not sure if concussions have taken a toll or if he has another injury or its a mental thing or he has for some unknown reason regressed.

Can't help feeling sorry for the guy. You know he is less happy with his production than any Rangers fan.

Well, you're up early enough...

Personally, I'd prefer the game to be at 10AM. 1PM-4PM kinda knocks out the whole day. 10-1 and you still have some time to do something in the afternoon.

Gotta do it, I'm self-employed. Some months I make insane bank, then I can go two or three months teetering on poverty. You're correct about the early start leaving a lot of day behind it, though. While mentally it feels entirely bizarre watching hockey at 10am, I am also super antsy when I have to wait all day for a 7 or 7:30 ET start. The time before playoff games is some of the slowest moving time I have ever seen and I walk circles around my house looking at the clock 3 million times.

WC in Quebec City/Halifax? 2008. He had 13 points in 9 games.

He took the penalty that lead to the Kovalchuk goal winning it for Russia.

I wonder what Vegas would put the Rick Nash scoring odds at?

Rick Nash scores: 10-1
Rick Nash scores 2 goals : 50-1
Rick Nash gets a hatty: 200-1
Rick Nash has the most goals in the series: 75-1

Winning Game 1 is very important. Both the Rangers and Habs have won Game One in both of their respective matchups so far this playoffs.

I feel like the Rangers are going to get killed today.

Prove me wrong.

Let's take the first one in Montreal.
Lets take both

Of course he's a beast on big ice with less hitting, fits his style of play perfectly. It's also unfortunately the opposite of playoff hockey.

I think he'll do well against Montreal. Only [potential] problem is Carey Price.

The difference is that one is the World Championship and one is the NHL playoffs. He wasn't producing last playoffs for us either.

Yeah, I'm not saying it's the same. Lighting up NOR, LAT, SLV and GER isn't too hard for an NHLer. It's just the tournament I think he thought of.

Are the Rangers playing today?:sarcasm:
I experienced the felling of losing in 79 and 86. This year is different. It's time to defeat them. LGR!!!

Personally , the 86 was the most painful bevaise I believed they would win it all.. If I recall we knocked off Flyers & Caps who had the most pts behind Edm in the league. I was convinced MTL would be easy. Also , working in MTl I bet with all the Hab fans that were willing. Nightmare series. Claude Lemieux's OT goal is right up there with JP PArise's & Morrow's OT goals as one hell of a painful memory. LGR avenge 86.

That's what I was thinking. Between Marty's mother and coming back from being down 3-1 they might just be emotionally spent. Then throw in the Bell Centre and an extra days rest and this could be a clunker.

Thankfully my gut feelings are usually just indigestion so we should be good to go.

You can download the NBC Live Extra app. It works very well (for me at least). Of course you will need to provide login credentials from a Cable/Satellite TV service provider.
