I think only one, we have API access to EP so we have wide coverage over much of the leagues. Thanks for the DB update!
Out of curiosity: about how many of the drafted players were not in the DB? Did you have to create many?

I like the idea of scaling ratings back on players, but it seems the Isles players didn't get the same hit players on other teams did. Are they not finished yet? They just seem out of line with comparisons to players on other teams.I think only one, we have API access to EP so we have wide coverage over much of the leagues.
I actually scaled them back because they kept performing too good, I’ll be starting testing and re rates on Monday. Going to start with Vegas/Florida and work my way down the playoff teams as the lottery teams were first last year.I like the idea of scaling ratings back on players, but it seems the Isles players didn't get the same hit players on other teams did. It’s just SorokinClearly ECK has a homer rating bias...
To be fair I made EVERYONE potentially NHL viable as I believe it's one of the best classes we have in a long, long time, also its more fun!You guys don’t pull up the editor when there’s a new roster update and pump up the potential of your favorite prospects?
Yeah me neither.

I think it's more than just Sorokin (who should be rated pretty high). It seems across the board. Just some comparisons of players I think are comparable to Isles players :It’s just Sorokin
Name/Position | Rating | PPG over last 3 Years |
Matthew Barzal C | 174 | .83 |
Roope Hintz C | 158 | .98 |
Kyle Palmieri LW/RW | 150 | .50 |
Alex Killorn LW/RW | 150 | .71 |
JP Pageau C | 146 | .53 |
Vince Trocheck C | 146 | .74 |
I wonder if I just missed them in that drop, ill adjust tonight and push, definitely not trying to be a homer the isles are in the mushy middle and don’t have a plan.I think it's more than just Sorokin (who should be rated pretty high). I think it throws the DB a little out of whack. I totally appreciate the time and effort you put into creating this DB for free. It's a ton of work, and I'm not complaining, just trying to point out how it could be improved. I'm not saying the non-Isles players on this list should be raised, I just think it looks like players from 1 team weren't given the same sort of ratings whack.
Comparing the last roster to this one, it looks like about 75% of players across the league dropped 10 pts in OV. But less than 15% of NYI players had a 10 pt drop.

Right now I don't plan on it, let people play around with UFA for a while and give me time to rescale the NHL and start serious re-rates. I may end up changing my mind on that but for now so I can focus I am thinking next update on 8/1.

Hmmm that’s a good question, it’s definitely game code. Those choices are provided from your key staff positions, I wonder if you also released all AGM/scouts/coaches if it would be more random. You would also have a hell of a staff free agent frenzy!Really appreciate all the hardwork that has gone in to keeping this game alive. I first started playing EHM back in 2005 and fell in love with the game.
I did have a question regarding fantasy drafts - I find there is a tendenacy for teams to draft there own players/prospects in the fantasy draft, is there anyway to get the system to make the draft a bit more random?
Now theres an idea - thanks for the suggestion!Hmmm that’s a good question, it’s definitely game code. Those choices are provided from your key staff positions, I wonder if you also released all AGM/scouts/coaches if it would be more random. You would also have a hell of a staff free agent frenzy!
Common reasons this could happen:Has there been a solution to the disk space error?
"Unable to write data to disk, reasons being lack of disk space, file locked by system, or bad sectors on disk being written to.
Thanks
Yes it would be, but only edit the CSV if you have the full version (not web) of Microsoft Excel.Hey! Just experimenting with the editor, and I'd like to shuffle NHL players around teams to get them on new teams (like such draft game Off-Season Fantasy Draft #2 DRAFT THREAD )
I managed to do it in the editor, by searching every player and switching them teams.
But I saw online the possibility to export a CSV and import it back. Can I download the NHL rosters, clear them and put the correct names associated with each team?
If not, anyone has pointers to make the process a bit more straighforward? Ie. would downloading the CSVs of players be faster than going through each one in the editor?
Thank you very much!
