EHM is very old and thus uses very old Windows API to "talk" to hardware, pending on how you are connecting that external drive I can see it not working (USB-C for instance). Similar logic behind EHM having a lot of issues in Virtual Machines.

Do you know if that’s going to be a problem once windows 10(?) is going to stop receiving support in October?

It shouldn't I and many others play on WIndows 11.

As a cybersecurity professional if you are still using WIndows 10 as your main OS and you are not passing the checks in the Windows Upgrade Assistant (Download Windows 11), you may want to consider upgrading or replacing your PC.

appreciate the new updates and just getting back into this after some time.. going to see if i have the elixir for my tragic canucks.. going through all the summer stuff like i love doing (staff / tryouts / scouting) i have run into a weird issue when attempting to assign scouts.

i want to assign Todd Harvey to scout the western hockey league - the list cuts off in the Qs in the league list. too many? i've attached.

What resolution are you playing with? If I do Nation -> Canada I can get to the bottom of the list (1440x900 windowed). There aren't that many leagues in Sweden, shouldn't be an issue at all.

no dice - went windowless at 1920x - however that is max resolution on my laptop screen. it might work on a bigger screen - will try that before crying for help again

Full screen is bugged, stick to windowed, should work.

@xECK29x : What is the 'youngest' league/team someone can take control over? Does the AI have something like a 'youth intake' similar Football Manager? Or does the AI spit out new prospects to random teams and populate them?

I've been getting back into football manager after a 10+ year absence. If only SI could put an ounce of effort into EHM as they do FM..

I've been getting back into football manager after a 10+ year absence. If only SI could put an ounce of effort into EHM as they do FM..

Corrently would be one of the U20 teams, I don't have any U18 or lower playable. The game will "feed" those teams with newgens and players "spawn" in as young as 13.

The draft floats in game pending on when the SCF ends, transfer windows have hard coded end dates, we cannot float them. The fix for this is using EHM Assistant and editing the Transfer Window for the NHL to allow trading again manually. I don't want to open trading too early as its possible teams in the SCF start waiving or trading players while the SCF is going on.

Final update for Pivot posted for the season, change notes below. I will be spending some time making some updates to TBL, 94ish and 2000ish then spending the next few months until the NHL draft actually playing the game! Thanks as always for another season of support!

General Updates:
- Latest notable transactions and contract extensions for playable leagues
- Increased and re-organized reputation across all active junior, major junior and domestic college leagues based on PG testing and researcher feedback -- thanks Mark!!

Prospect Generator Updates -- thanks ImActuallyAnOtter!!
- Now includes ~4700 staff at game start
- Re-balancing of PA distribution to match long term game demands
- Re-balancing of starting CA to match game distribution without PG
- Reduced player heights, more so for finesse players
- Reintroduced player weight settings to match irl data
- Introduced 2 new player archetypes, defensive specialist and dedicated scorer
- Lowered prospect physical attributes across the board
- Reset of offensive and defensive role attribute generation to make less high-end two-way players
** Outstanding issues
-- There will still be a large gap in the first 10-15 years of a save due to the way the game wants to run and what happens irl. I don’t think this is fixable but we’ll keep trying
-- Still working on refining “middle 6” NHL ability generation. Might still be a bit high, it’ll be corrected if needed

Certainly possible but doing a schedule template for such a large league became really hard to design. I'm going to look to restructure the NCAA more similar to how we have the CHL leagues feed into the Memorial Cup, could do something similar there for the Frozen Four. BK used to have this with the CJHL leagues and the individual cups back in the day, I don't think I'd bring that back as its too much to update year over year and the reps of the leagues are so low.

I had wondered the same about the structure. If there was a way to qualify for the tournament by both the season record and winning the conference.

For the scheduling question, my thought would be that it takes having an absurd number of divisions within the conference.

I know the EHM07 thread is dead - so I figured I can post my story here.

Wanted to try a difficult challenge. I found (AFAIK), a playable team with - smallest budget, next to no players, and an ambition to achieve promotion.. Welcome to KoMu HT Mustasaari - in the Finnish Third League!

I've never played with a fully maxed out/detailed save. Wonder how this will go.

"I've had up to 96 working for sure in GUH/ I think I had a 110+ (all North American and international colleges + some fakes into a single league) did work, but after that i think it starts giving visual bugs (ie. not showing all the teams in the standings, but it did work). i think non-playable leagues over 200 would crash the game if you looked at the info screen.

The main league league 0 (NHL) can only have max 50."
