Also for fun startup options I like doing a fantasy draft with prospects where I am only allowed to pick from the options presented by my AGM, HC and Head Scout.
Sounds fun! I will try it asapAlso for fun startup options I like doing a fantasy draft with prospects where I am only allowed to pick from the options presented by my AGM, HC and Head Scout.
Just make sure you clear out the section for the future transfers in the extra_config file!Sounds fun! I will try it asap
That is what we are hoping the database rebalance will help with, may not get it right at the start but should help. Expectations need to be checked though, its a game basically from 2015 without any support.Do anyone have a "trick" to make scoring like realistic? for example in mulitple saves, connor bedard i barely ppg in the WHL, and if im not managing a NHL team with a crazy offensice tactic, the art ross average point totals hovers around 100 pts.
Next thing is especially young non-drafted players choosing to play for obscure teams, had a danish wonderkid, playing for rogle in the SHL, and in his draft year, he swapped over to the danish second division, even though, he is ranked at number 5 with a statline of 0.5 ppg in the danish second tier, (15 wrist shot, 14 creativity, good skating etc). I love this game, but i think players career paths must be looked into, i get that some prospects with low ambitions, might choose to be playing in the obscure leagues, but high touted prospects with great CA and ambition, should be seeking to best possible development route, like the SHL,Liiga,NLA or canadian junior leagues.
Don't draft pointmen.I drafted a pointman with great offensive stats (great everything stats), but the dude just does not score any points. Any suggestions?

Could be low offensive role, see Skater (offensive) here:Whats his hidden attri utes? Consistency, temperament, etc
Did he score a lot of pts at any level?
Seriously, I put more emphasis on pts than on attributes and it usually leads to cups.

Probably from the forum embedding, try viewing it on desktop if on mobile. here is the link (just remove the spaces https://docs .google. com/spreadsheets/d/0B2uDBhMLYiIGMV95NEhfNjNOMkU/edit?resourcekey=0-_Ku7jvXNVYljDxD8PCj5hg#gid=503146240Sorry I can't see what you attached for some reason.
But I just find some players don't score much.
I experienced that for a few reason: low consistency/decision making players, "physical" (which might be what you refer to?) also seem to have problems producing offensively.
But, they make for great trade bait. A funny thing to do is trade a player with great attributes but garbage play to a rival team. Sometimes the rival team will start losing more because that player just isn't good in-game for one reason or another. Especially great with goalies, it's an easy way to get top picks.
It's something we've tweaked here and there, I did lower inj prone and upped nat fit towards the end of last season so depending on when you started your save you should have those improvements. I have not attempted to modify any injuries in the years I've been doing editing as there isn't enough research documentation on the values AFAIK.Hey , I got a question about the assistant , there is an option to reduce overall frequency of injuries , has anybody tried this? Will it mess up my file?
I know you can remove injuries or add them to specific players altogether but there is also a setting for overall injury frequency and I was wondering if anybody dabbled into it , pretty funny seeing all the type of injuries there is in the game and the actual % of getting them.
If anybody could shed some light on this it would be cool, the computer i'm using right now is way too slow to test it out through trial and error unfortunately
Let’s be honest - the EHM engine is unsophisticated and ancient at this point. The lack of nuance in ratings and player usage and role types in team construction and the lack of a chemistry indicator/development system and ability to identify and have the game recognize balanced line construction and deployment is something that just cannot be overcome no matter how good the rosters are.In the current EHM buld, it's basically impossible to know if defensive anything is actually good (unless you go deep dive on the stats) as it doesn't follow the AR.
The rating is all offence, nothing else really matters.
Awesome! On track for a the initial 2023-24 release of Pivot tomorrow night late EST!
