Yes it was, high danger chances of 25-3, DRW weren’t really in the game.

Whiffing on pucks don't count as shots. Which has already been addressed. Wings controlled the o-zone. The opportunity was there; the execution was not. It was also addressed Wings played 4 games in 6 nights. The other team played 2 games since break and were well rested.

That's life. But just pointing out this was a scheduled loss. Not to mention the lucky bounces that was in favor of CBJ.

There season series between these two teams is tied 2-2.

JVR been tipping pucks for 100 years...all lucky bounces. I love it.

Remember when the wings beat us earlier in the year last minute? Luckiest bounce to a guy out of the box I've ever seen. Shouldn't have even counted as a win tbh.

In the last 63 days the Devils have 1 win against a team currently in a playoff spot.

I personally don’t think that’s a strategy that can be effective in the postseason, but I fully support NJ’s right to try it

Very nice, hoping they tumble down the standings and can get to that 11th overall draft spot (Flames get that pick babyyyy).

Columbus schedule is absolutely brutal in the next 6 games

On paper, but 4 of the next 7 are against the Devils and Rangers and they haven't been lighting things up recently. They can basically knock the Rangers out of contention and they could pass the Devils if they keep winning as they have.

It'd be great if those games in April against Detroit and Ottawa mattered for the Habs.

Looking at their past pedigree, I'd expect the Rangers to be the team in that pack most likely to make the playoffs at this point.

Boston seems to be in a downfall and they are lacking key players at the worst time in the season. Montreal is on a surge, but unless they can bring their winning streak to 7 or 8 (sweeping that Western Canada trip), I wouldn't put my money on them. Ottawa and Detroit could go either way. These two teams have disappointed in the past seasons when we thought they might be ready to join the playoffs again. Columbus..., well, I said a month ago that I expected the Blue Jackets to get into the playoffs and go on a cinderella run for Gaudreau. They are in a good position to fulfill the first part of my prediction.
