I'd like to see him go if return is right. Move Guhle back to natural side.
They are not going to substrat in an already thin and inexperienced D when their goal is to fight for a playoff spot

I'd like to see anyone go if the return is right. The Habs would need a very nice return if they were to trade one of their two veteran defensemen.

The reason to trade Matheson is not to move Guhle from RD to LD. It would be because we have Hutson and we rather not have two guys who are soft in our D zone. Guhle is doing fine at RD and it's not hurting his progression.
Matheson's value is circumstantial. You need a contender who needs a puck mover. Maybe a team gets an injury to their PP QB and needs a short term solution. That's where I see us potentially trading Matheson.
Can't force trades... It's usually circumstantial and you need patience.
Agreed. Habs fans are too desperate to make trades and get even younger.

Who ever thought that the Habs were going to be fighting for a playoff spot this season were delusional. We still have a long way to go. Demidov should help us get there in his 2nd season with us.

Two bad teams could realistically be on the market for a coach. Why does this even matter in the first place?

Huh?
Because it is stupid to say the 'NHL trade market' as NHL teams don't have any other trade market. It should just have been 'the trade market', there was no need to be redundant.
