Pickard mostly stays in the net and doesn’t slide all over the place like a lost penguin when the other team starts cycling the puck. I feel way more calm when he’s in net even though he lets in some stinkers.

He does let in the odd bad goal but every goalie does. Skinner just does more than anyone. A lot more. At least with Pikard he has great rebound control and swallows up pucks. With skinner it bounces off him like a ping pong ball. Dude can barely handle the most routine of shots. Lol

We honestly didn’t lose much going Ceci to Emberson as predicted even though the roles aren’t an exact match.

Also, didn’t Emberson grade out to be an analytical darling in front of that same Sharks roster?

Yes and, while he has been a tad frustrating early on, he is gaining steam. Young guy with great underlying numbers so far. He's a keeper.

Yeh his game has really come together. Thought we might have another outlet black hole like Benning on our hands. But he’s minimized his mistakes and is just playing a solid game now.

Probably gonna jump the gun on this, but he does play a similar game to Tanev, a kind of player on the backend this team has been missing for a very long time.

Yeh that’s probably jumping the gun. Maybe like a Tanev Jr. Lite B-side. He does jump into defensive situations efficiently like Tanev and knows when to throw a hit.

Its almost like the analytics that showed pretty clearly that Ceci was a boat anchor Nurse that some of us have been talking about for years now were legit.

I wonder if the analytics that show that Skinner is a boat anchor are legit, too?

And some people here said getting rid of Ceci and healthy scratch VD was so crippling that it turned us from a 104 point team to a mid one.
