Obviously he hasn’t had the season some hoped for. A project, but to me, a worthwhile one. Big and can skate - a no brainer in the 3rd/4th.
Won’t be shocked if he’s a 2nd rounder, and Nguyen, my previous pick, is a 6th/7th.

I highly considered Ronni with my 3rd pick, at some point he was my 1st target. Then, got to watch more of Neuchev, Wagner and Sykora and decided to go with one of them. But Ronni remains a very good pick late 3rd round, he is a very good skater with great playmaking ability + decent size.
With the 103rd selection in the 2022 amateur draft, Tampa Bay Lightning is proud to select, from the Seattle Thunderbirds in the WHL, LW Reid Schaefer.
'Big power forward type who skates decently, and knows how to use his size to protect the puck and crash the net. Creates a lot of space for his teammates in the offensive zone, punishing opposing dmen whenever he can. Also owns a good shot. Will still need to work on his skating though, can't move the puck effectively because he lacks another gear, also remains to be seen if he benefited from playing on a great team or if he's just a passenger.'
