Reichel has been much improved this season. He has obvious chemistry with Smith. Any reason we haven't seen them with Bedard for a stretch? Not like any of the Bedard lines have worked.

Richardson just has absolutely no ability to generate or recognize chemistry.

That’s my big frustration with Richardson. There’s absolutely no reason why what they’re doing so far tonight can’t be a baseline.

This team isn’t good (and I don’t expect it to be) but they look absolutely anemic in 75% of the games they play. That’s unacceptable

Quick thoughts:

Bedard doing too much reaching with his stick, needs to keep his legs moving

If the Blackhawks are going to chip it in, they either need to get it deep or send a guy after it. They can't chip it in 5 feet over the blue line and peel back for a change.

Neither of these two teams can complete a pass to save their lives.

Nobody on the Blackhawks seems to have any idea what anybody else on the ice is going to do or where they're going to be. Everything seems like a happy accident or a disorganized panic.
