I have a solution for Hawks woeful offense and not getting g to the middle slit prime scoring area of the ice...But if Hawks take my suggestion,it will damage the lotto chances for Martone or Misa..so I am not that excited to make any suggestion that improves Hawks scoring
However...just to take you all off the hooking making wrong guesesat this solution,I will volunteer this brilliant fox idea:
So ...during practices ,coaching staff ropes pff 12 feet from each side boatd i the o-zone...players forced to skate only between the Robeson the middle of the ice...forces then to bettercstick-handling and short passing g all in the middle and away from the boards...
.since Hawks stinking board oisesdion battles anyway ,if tge puck goes to the boards or behind the net when Hawks lose control off it,4 Hawks do not chase on forecheck but rish back to the o-zobe bluekine to cut offtransition exits...1 Hawks d,stud well behind the guys lining up to prevent exits and this rover gets the loose pucks and starts the attack into the o-zobe again but only rushing again up the middle.. they key is to stay away from the o-zone side boards, since Hawjs neither score frontiers or lose control of the puck to the opos anyway in board battles.
This strategy forces Hawks to play the modfle of the ice ,it prevents Hawjs forecheckers from getting caught in transitions once they lose control of the puck,it creates chOs as the ioos forced to close in to defend the middle skit and it prevents breakouts if opps get the pucks because Hawks are not chasing loose pucks except in the middle and have a line 4 across the offensive blueline forcing cough upsas the ops try exiting ....opps so surprised nobody vjSi g thenpn capture ofca pose puck that no longer know how to exit past 4 checkers lined across their own blueline..
Now the only caveat tk this strategy is that it presumes kibd if 4 Hawks willbe able to check the opos trying to exit and check them without takibg hooking or slashing penalties..to check them it forces Hawks to physically use their bodies to create cough ups..but this requires less energies than long chasing after loose pucksat ybe boardsin the ozobe to keep pucks in...as this fails too often..Hawks unable to sustain lengthy pressure that way..thus try this new strategy instead.
Hey what have we got to lose ?...(maybe the Tank if this works)...because NOTHING else is working to produce more offense.. so why not try this novel approach?
