11M is a lower percentage of the salary cap than Lundqvist took. Much lower. 11M wouldn’t even be the highest paid player on our own team. Not even close.

There’s nothing unreasonable about asking for more. Yet, our slimy GM wanted to turn the fanbase against our best player because he thinks a lot of people are evidently not intelligent enough to recognize that he’s asking for market value.
