Haven't touched an NHL game in months.
I couldn't even tell you if I've played the latest one or not. Basically just playing whichever one is free on Game Pass.

Ya, that was my plan too but they offered this year’s for like 50% off around thanksgiving. Decided to grab it then.

Haven’t touched one in years. Online is complete garbage. I try to stick lift, it’s hooking or tripping. I try to hit someone, it’s elbowing or charging. What’s the point?
Ya, I don’t even try with online. There are so many glitches that the kids know how to exploit

I always play with Vasys custom roster from the roster sharing. Has a ton of the draft eligible players and teams prospects added. IMO it’s a must given how EA is missing NCAA players and Russian players

There is nothing to undo Seabrook was a 90 in that I believe he was good and from what I remember spending my college days playing that he aged out a lot better in that than he did irl

He also bumps a lot of ratings up too high though, it kind of ruins the franchise after two or three years. Every forward is a top six potential or better.
There’s another guy doing more reasonable prospect rosters, WoZ, that seems decent.

The historic teams they had were great. I would love to play as the 13 hawks vs the 2020 lightning and so on. Instead we just got a bunch of half assed all time teams with many teams not even having their best players on said all time teams

I was ranked 1st in the 2k5 leaderboards for a real short time. I loved the Flyers at the time.
It's actually how I got so into hockey. I had an online buddy at the time and he'd always be telling me about the game. Said now's a great time to start watching because of Crosby/Ovie/Malkin

i mostly just let it sim in the background while i do other stuff. when i need a distraction i'll go check in on it. it's statswatching the game.

Problem is you have to do everything one day at a time. Can't even let it sim the way you can in EA Sports.
Inflates the play time. Takes like a full day of playing to get through a season lol.
let the coach have control of the bench and use the go on vacation function. i'll just punch in the date of the tade deadline or the draft and go make dinner or something.

I recently went to Disc Replay and bought every year of EA and 2K NHL games for Xbox 360. What’s wrong with me? At least they were only a dollar each.
