Value of: Dylan Larkin

I won’t offer any vets at your request:

Cole P (23 yr old 2nd line winger with centre experience in juniors, 50 pts this year, high IQ)

2025 1st rd pick (I didn’t offer multi picks seems you prefer young players and near ready NHL prospects, plus Jets don’t own any 2nd rd picks for three years)

Two of Jets top 10 prospects depending who

Another prospect in top 15 depending on your preference
Ok.

Perfetti
2025 1st
Rashevsky

Cole is a good yng winger, with 60-65 pt potential, he’s already scored 50 pts

1st rd pick is a late pick obviously

Rashevsky is a sneaky sleeper pick could turn a dynamic top six forward

Yager IMO is Jets top centre prospect

Levis decent prospect

Not all Jets fans will agree obviously but I would do it, it would hurt both now and in the future but Jets are in win now mode. Might want a 2nd rd pick back with Dylan, but at least we’re in the same ballpark

I agree it would hurt both. I don't want to trade Larkin.

But if it came down to it...

Larkin is a 4 straight 30 goal, 70 point center, who wins faceoffs at 55% and is an NHL captain on a great deal considering the cap is going up. This is a guy that teams trade absolute hauls for. Some of you are going to really need to re-evaluate your proposals and give your head a shake.

This is somebody I want the Vancouver Canucks to target badly, but I don’t think Detroit is gonna be rebuilding so I don’t think we have the assets possibly to make a word unless we trade ep40 1-1

There’s a lot of teams that would want him but not many I’m assuming he’d waive for. If you’re a rebuilding team then forget about it, he’s not gonna make a lateral move from Detroit to a place like Buffalo. Teams I could see him going to are New Jersey, dallas, LA, Columbus just for werenski and close to home, and maybe the rangers, maybe the hurricanes. I just don’t think teams like the blues or Canadians are enticing enough for him to go there whatsoever.

You’re still adding if it’s for EP40. That’s a humongous risk for the red wings. I don’t think it’s a Detroit situation, Larkin holds all the cards for where he would want to go and Vancouver is at the bottom of the list.

I can see the Red Wings and Canucks making a deal that works for both teams. Addresses both teams needs and makes them better

To Vancouver: Larkin, 2025 3rd

To Detroit: Lekkermaki, Silovs, Bains, Kunz, 2026 4th, 2027 5th
It’s going to cost a lot more than that.

I would actually be OK with willander 2025 1st (15) and Lekkerimaki for larkin.

That’s a significant package, but it feels a huge need for Vancouver

If the wings didn’t have ASP this would be close value, though I’m not a huge Lekkerimaki fan. I loved Willander in his draft year but he’s RD.

The big need is LD and center. I think at least one of Kasper and Danielson can get close to or match Larkin’s impact. I don’t want to strip away the team’s center depth right as it’s becoming a strength again unless I’m certain Kasper and Danielson can replace Larkin.

I think dallas is a team I could see trading for him easily. Marchment, bichsel, bourque and hemming for larkin, wallinder/buium?
