Value of: Dylan Larkin

Larkin is not being traded unless the offer is too good to be true, which is unlikely to happen since Larkin is more valuable to the Wings than to other teams. Also trading him without filling his void would be very dumb, so unless you can find another center around the league with a similar value to swap I don't see the point.

If Larkin is traded, that means the Wings blundered another year and a huge shakeup is needed, and odds are the return would likely be a mixture of blue chipper prospects + high picks.

Sure sounds like he wants out, to maybe accomplish something. Which means you're bound to get peanuts.

If Larkin were traded the only way it makes sense to me is if he demanded a trade and the wings elected to go forward for whatever reasons.

If this comes to pass, and given Larkin’s trade protection, you’d guess maybe Detroit can get a few teams with competing offers, but probably would be limited with how many teams would meet the criteria of having/making room for Larkin, being good enough that he would waive for the deal, and having some interesting assets for Detroit.

I’d have to guess Minnesota would be interested and maybe could offer Rossi. Blues, Avs, and Kings would probably be interested but struggle to find the ideal offer. I don’t think the kings should mess with Byfield, but maybe that’s a fit. That seems about it to me

None sense, he has a long term contract and he's under 30. Yzerman will just hold out until he has a decent value in return if a trade is to happen. Peanuts is wishful thinking.
