This is not going to happen. No interest in moving him, doubt there's any interest on his part to be moved. The vultures ought to circle elsewhere.

I can’t fathom any reasonable offer that would make Detroit move him. You’d have to offer a younger 1C or top 2 draft pick that can become a 1C to even move the needle, and if you have either of those why would you move it for Larkin? No trades makes sense.

Hfboards needs to understand. It'd cost more than he's worth to pry him from Detroit.

He is the captain of his hometown team, who has pretty much played his entire life in this state.
My team offers a bunch of secondary pieces and parts that if you squint real hard maybe worth half of a player like Larkin. What you don’t want that? Well he sucks anyway. I’ll throw in a third.

The only thing that would make sense, and even then, would be a a younger version of Larkin from a team trying to break through and want a more established player.

Quickly looking at rosters, that doesn’t really exist

not aimed at op . but wanted to add that larkins one of thee absolutely most underrated by fans nhlers . and if he'd been playing on say a tbay since coming up with a hedman n kutchey he'd been seen as a superstar . instead he played with a mantha n a dekeyser . he came into the bigs on the worst depth chart in nhl history lol , but thru all these years hes been thee most intense hustling son of a gun going . huge respect for this guys game

No team is offering what he's worth. He'll be a Wing for at least a few more years, unless he attacks a coach.

there is no package in existence for larkin that the other team would offer and detroit would accept

this is one of those trades that is essentially 0% chance of happening

the only thing that would make sense for det is a much younger 1C or highly touted 1C prospect + a 1st rounder (at least)
so something like carlsson + 1st (unprotected) from anaheim, cooley + 1st from utah, etc. which none of those teams would do.

Way to much from Wild, Rossi is on pace to outproduce Larkin and he is 5 years younger so Adding a prospect and 1st round pick would be an overpayment
And yet, 0 chance Detroit accepts that trade. marco rossi plays with kirill kaprizov. kaprizov on larkin's wing would be a different story.
