Just my take on it.. but Larkin, although a very good player, is definitely damaged goods and a big risk. I'm not sure I would be comfortable banking on his health long term.

They’ve won 3 of 4 now, as they’re getting their players back. Yes, it’s been hard to watch at times, but you don’t panic after a bad dozen games, with that many injuries. Especially when they lost their goalies and top 2 Cs.

They do, desperately need someone to carry that second pairing though, as Chiarot is hard to watch every night, thinking he’s Bobby Orr.

They’ll likely make that move coming up here. Don’t be surprised if they don’t get Gibson or Markstrom as well.

Lyon is back and playing pretty well again though, so they’re not as desperate in net. With 4 starts in a row, looks like they’re evaluating, if he can carry the load and be their #1. We’ll see. Worse case, he’s showing Anaheim he can be a solid goaltender for them, if Yzerman takes a run at Gibson.

Honestly I don't think goalies are the problem (or the biggest). And while the defensemen have been iffy at times I don't think its on them either. Lots of floating forwards defensively. Don't know if its the defensive scheme or just some players not giving a shit but thats where I see the biggest problem atm.

Maybe you can trade him to Montreal for a 1st round pick? They've said many times players like him are worth that.
