I still feel it’s too early to chime in on how I am feeling about this one but I guess I am gonna do it anyways.

The start right now could be all adrenaline but I am encouraged it has gone on for about 2 weeks now without withering away shows that 30goal 70pt season wasn’t a fluke he has the talent to possibly recreate it.

I see where Buffalo fans are coming form if he isn’t scoring I can see how it is easy to get frustrated with him if u ignore the first two games he played with us.

With Norris missing more games than he has played for Buffalo so far it makes this an easy win at least for this season. But this trade probably won’t have a decided winner for another 2-3 seasons.

This is even a question? This is the biggest direct highway robbery the sens have made since the Yashin for Spezza/Chara deal.

My jaw dropped when the deal was done. It hit the floor when the sens got the 2nd round pick. I thought it was a typo.

Norris is a great player but his cap hit and injuries I dont know how he had any value at all.

Cozens isnt done developing either, big guy longer dev curve man he can fly and extend the zone.

You missed the post trade commentary on here from Buffalo fans telling anyone who would listen (and a few were ever so ready to listen) how bad Cozens is. I have been a Cozens fan for several years .. I was promoting a Norris for Cozens trade before it happened. Fantastic trade for the Sens. BIG W

Perhaps he will as he develops and gets accustomed to the league and playing against the best players. Right now, not so much. I am hoping he does and counting on it.

I understand their disappointment he is a promising young player thats game fell off in a bad situation. But he is clearly a better player than Norris, is bigger, faster and isnt injury prone most importantly. Norris is a more polished player but Cozens has more upside. There is more runway here, him drake and Perron have been amazing. He can carry the puck in the neutral zone which is really big for this team other than Stutzle they dont have anyone that does that up front. Drake has looked amazing I dont think its a strange coincidence.
