He was a good player and I enjoyed watching him. He was kinda quirky and always seemed to want to play bigger than he actually was, and he would occasionally lay an egg, but he was quite serviceable for us. RIP
Part of the lunch pail gang roster that turned me into a B's fan right around '77 as a kid. There's still something magical for me whenever I see footage or pics of guys from that era.
Dwight Foster was thew captain of the Kitchener Rangers back in the seventies. He still holds the record for the most points by a player 382 points in 262 games. In 1976-77 he lead the OHL in points 143 with 60 goals and 83 assists. They had a ceremony a while back to raise his number to the rafters. Once a Bruin always a Bruin. Great guy. Rest in peace Dwight.
