Looks like a keeper! Really nice start.

His movement in the crease is really impressive. There's so little wasted motion.
his influence was jonathan quick....you can see his style of taking the lower part of the net when he moves around..

i was watching the flames feed and the announcer told that wolf's idol growing up was jonathan quick....

Love the way this kid moves. Does not look like a rookie goalie at all.
Been trying to tell my more casual Flames fan friends here in Calgary about Dustin for a while now. He is really really good.

I've become a Wolf believer.

He's good in WHL but small, lets see him do that against AHL teams. Ok, he's good in AHL but lets see him do that in NHL. Ok, he's good in NHL but lets see how he does against real NHL teams.

Reminds me of another small late round Flames pick who turned out to be really good.

Obviously very early amd things coukd change. But what's even more impressive about his start is that the flames haven't even been good defensively atm. 13th in GA and 28th in PK% but still has the 6th best SV% in the league.
For sure.. it's very early. I don't say this to be a dick but I expect Calgary to have a rough season as well. It'll be interesting to see how he holds up during some slumps. I always knew he was awesome but his height concerned me but he's outplaying 6'6 Vladar and shutting me up nicely.lol

God's country just outside of Calgary
What the hell is a pepsi shutout?

also Nashville sucks holy heck.
I believe it started for the 2020 playoffs after the NHL came back to play after the pandemic. It was a gimmick to get fans interested in NHL hockey again.

Honestly his resume is one of the most ridiculous I've ever seen on a prospect. Imagine if a skater had the equivalent resume, they'd be hailed as a generational talent (not saying Wolf is one).

Its still crazy to me that he has never been considered as good of a prospect as Askarov/Wallstedt despite the eye popping numbers. His AHL numbers were so good he became unprojectable. No goalie his age had ever been that dominant, let alone for two seasons straight. But alas the "he smol" crowd never seems to give an inch (pun intended) when they explain the preference for other goalie prospects.
