I guess he has had a really terrific attitude about his whole situation. He's been a leader in SA and a loyal soldier. I think him getting the callup to be the full time 7D was just rewarding him with an NHL paycheck for time served. The games played was probably because they felt they had no choice with injuries, but he took the chance and ran with it, and now barring a meltdown he may actually hang onto a roster spot.
