Ducks should have been called for 6 penalties now. They're calling everything on the Devils.

The NHL has "fair" officiating by making sure each team gets an equal number of calls. It doesn't matter that one team commits 8 offenses and the other 2, both teams get 2 power plays.

Gibson has been solid but NJ hasn’t made it that difficult with the exception of the Holtz shot. Other than that he’s just been very sound positonally.

If you’d watch the Devils penalties you’d think this game is called tightly.

If you watched Anaheim’s lack of penalties than you’d think this game is called loosely.

Either is kind of ok but you can’t let Anaheim take liberties and then call the Devils for playing similar.

Not here to troll. But for those questioning Gibson's play/stats the last few years, tonight the ducks lineup is so depleted is is reminiscent of the last 2 years. Last year, the ducks played like this pretty much every night. Zero puck possession and shooting gallery. This year has been better before the recent injuries.

Puck was passed into his feet, it’s a tough one timer.

Bratt missed the same tough pass on the odd man rush.

You want guys to make a big play but that shot is hard to even get off when the pass isn’t right.

Power play is ice cold. You had to know something coached by worthless Travis Green was due for a regression.

Feels like one of these power plays for them will result in a goal.

Only saving grace on that Bratt penalty is that at least the Devils will be rested for the 2nd and ready to PK the sh-t out it.

But still....very unlike Bratt to crosscheck there.
