I’ve said it many times… we are an AHL team. If we were in Europe we would be in the tier 2 league. Can’t compete with teams investing more than us… from coaching, scouting, training, analytics, facilities… cap space… we play prospects that aren’t ready so in essence we are a really good AHL team.

It’s just frustrating, a lot of teams do this high cycle (swirl) thing the Avs do and any structure we’re supposed to have in the D zone just gets completely tossed aside. I just don’t know if they even know where to start in terms of defending it.
