I know that the trend in the NHL is towards larger goalies. However, his performance this year justifies this contract.
Kind of weird he signed with us. Seems like a loyal guy or perhaps there was a development plan he had agreed to.
Can't imagine he has a very easy path to start NHL games. Clara has been brilliant and seems like potentially the best of the bunch if the most unproven. Dostal is ahead in development. And there's still Clang challenging him although for now it seems he has at least Clang beat.
Still, very happy to be completely stacked at G.

Curious how people here rank the duck goalie prospects including Dostal (but obviously not Gibson) in terms of long term potential?
Goalies can be so fickle when they move up levels that I have to have Dostal first just because he's the only one who has shown he can play at the NHL level, I don't think of him as a prospect at all at this point though. Wouldn't be shocked if Clara or one of the others ended up better.

Curious when he’s going to be back. I thought it was a torn ACL in pre-season but we are closing in on 6 months after.

Ya I wouldn’t expect him back this year…. Let him take his time healing/getting back…. Come in next year fresh and healthy
