Hope so. Tough putting Forsberg in while they really need these points. Its a copy cat league. Sens saw Sorokin play both games in front of them and they will try it.

He's really embraced playing the 200-ft game, being more consistent and using his size. Great to see.Batherson has been gradually elevating for about a year now (since Jacques came in basically). He just keeps getting better.
Yesterday before the game, I visited the Ducks thread for the game as no one was posting on this one. One poster recommended listening to Gord and Dean as he thought they were great .Dean brown first. Then galley.
For me, that will be the real test to see if the team has turned it around. Do they continue playing this way if they don't score the 1st goal or do they go in a tailspin and start making mental mistakes left and right? I really hope it's the former as that is one of the hurdles they need to overcome: playing from behind.Team is exceptionally good when they have the first goal
We have the 5th most wins in the league when scoring first, and 2nd best W%Team is exceptionally good when they have the first goal
Watched a lot of NYI during their dynasty years, Potvin and Bossy were my favorite players. They were a fun team to watch.
I just don't see it. Too many B2B in a short period of time + couple of games in between. I think Forsberg plays this weekend: hope it's Carolina as even Ullmark's never beaten them. Pittsburgh is more beatable IMO and they need the points.4 back to backs in the next few weeks.
Forsberg vs Pittsburgh this Saturday? Ullmark both ends of the next 3 given the time between them?
He got injured early in the game.Ostapchuk at 3:30 toi
Send him back to Belleville then.
That line has been very noticeable, in a good way. That pass by Pinto to cousins was nice, he's playing well tonight
That first goal stat record, is a crazy one for wins/lossesFor me, that will be the real test to see if the team has turned it around. 100% this is the way it should be.I think there is a real chance ullmark plays both games.
And neither has Ullmark so yeah, hope Forsberg gets the call. Also playing Pitt at home, let the fans enjoy seeing Ullmark play.Might as well be the Hurricanes game. We're going to lose that one anyways. We never beat that stupid team.
You missed a good one, very fun to watch.
Did they show the first responders, rappelling down from rafters during intermission on TV.And neither has Ullmark so yeah, hope Forsberg gets the call. Also playing Pitt at home, let the fans enjoy seeing Ullmark play.

Yes they did. Very cool.Did they show the first responders, rappelling down from rafters during intermission on TV.
Ya it was good, I was sitting near where the band played during the intermissions.Yes they did. Very cool.
I enjoyed him as a commentator as well. Such a class act, articulate.Oh I meant as a commentator. He was one of my favourites when Karlsson was breaking into the league. Potvin caught on early.
This is my favorite call he made when he was doing color for the SensOh I meant as a commentator. He was one of my favourites when Karlsson was breaking into the league. Potvin caught on early.
It’s also up to the goalie. If Ullmark does not feel comfortable back to back it won’t happenIts a copy cat league. Sens saw Sorokin play both games in front of them and they will try it.
If your a professional goalie who has made it to this level I can't imagine refusing a start goalies will lie even if they dont feel comfortable. It’s also up to the goalie. If Ullmark does not feel comfortable back to back it won’t happen
Yeah that happened after. Should have sent him to Belleville and avoided the injuryI just don't see it. Too many B2B in a short period of time + couple of games in between. Maybe they can play Ullmark for both Dec 21-22 as it's right before the Xmas break so he can rest up after that. But then they start the new year with two B2B. Toss up which game to give Forsberg for the 1st B2B: both teams (Wpg/Wild) playing really well right now. Maybe Forsey gets Wild as he played really well against them last year in Sweden. Then for the 2nd B2B, do they give Ullmark the non-playoff team (SLB) or Dallas? Again, points are at a premium. Don't want Forsberg getting games that are likely winnable with Ullmark in net as there'd be a danger of losing both.
He got injured early in the game.
He was injured with about 6 mins left in the game, I'd hardly call that early. He got injured early in the game.
I definitely saw him in the third period. He was injured with about 6 mins left in the game, I'd hardly call that early.
His last shift was just before the Hamonic fight, he got crosschecked in the back and fell awkwardly into the boards, and skated off favouring his shoulder.I definitely saw him in the third period.
That was the giveaway 2 or 3 years ago for an Octoberfest game against AZ.Which one of you nerds at the game threw a f***ing feathered fedora?!
I saw 2-3 garbage cans full, at the game.
