Yes but show me a team that doesn't have weaknesses? Every team in the league have weaknesses, there's no perfect team. So you're expectation is for the Sens to be perfect? No wonder you're always disappointed Xspyrit Lol

Well, I am far from always be disappointed lol but I have my focus on one thing : Stop missing the playoffs

So as long as this doesn't happen, I think they have to work on improving the areas of weaknesses.

I'm not sure why you're saying this to be honest, I mean, it's not like I was complaining while we were a Top-10 team. Sens are one of those teams that absolutely deserves the criticism

The key is consistency. It's awesome to pot 5 and have your goalie play well, but it's also key to come to the next game and give the same effort. And the game after that etc. etc. etc.

We damn near ran Anaheim out of the rink. I would not have wanted to play the second period as their team.

Now do it again. And again. And again. And beware that some teams won't suck.
Ya, I felt sorry for Gibson. He was being bombarded and the Senators were all over the Ducks.

Ducks aren’t a very good team though. It makes you wonder how we lost to them earlier.

Much bigger test coming up with the game against the Canes. We’ll get a better measure of their strength then.

Just out of curiosity which team plays perfectly 100% of the time in every game and in all situations? Because when I check the NHL stats page I see every team in the league has given up goals and in fact every team in the league has lost so does that mean every team is bad?

I don't disagree that the team has moments in games that aren't perfect but the way you frame issues is obnoxious. The team could win the cup and let you into the locker to drink beer from the cup and you'd find a way to complain it wasn't cold enough
lol this is kind of like all my arguments after Sunday.

I’m saying we played fine. And we were due. And we won.

But it is interesting seeing and hearing mostly how last night was a great game while Sunday was a game where we had loser mentality lol.

I agree with everything you said.

I doubt if many fans are expecting the Senators to be “perfect”. It seems odd to be providing this kind of response, or this kind of thinking.

We are .500 right now and have flirted with that point % a few times before this season and then dropped further down. Just based on the current situation, we’ll need to climb to about .550 (or higher) which is where the Rangers are at.

We have a bigger test against a much better Canes team in our next game. Let’s see what happens. We hope for the best, but I don’t see a reason for chastising other fans (or lectures).

Dokstal played great in Anaheim, last night we had Gibson. Guess saving Dokstal for game vs leafs tonight.

He was upset that Green put out PP1 when the game was 4-0 with not much time left in the third period.

The code would be you put out PP2 or guys from your 3rd/4th line.

Would the Senators be coddled by other teams? I kind of understand, but also don't really think other teams play fair all the time.

Went through the “Ride “ program just down the road from game, near cop station on Huntmar? , slowed down traffic exiting.

Jets fan coming in peace (that is how it is done right?)

Nice win, hope you guys put it together for the home stretch and finish in the top 3 in your division or at worst a wild card spot.

Just wanting to pipe in because I ordered a Batherson Adidas Authentic away jersey two weeks ago and it arrived at my door yesterday exactly as Batherson scored his hat trick goal. That was pretty freaky.

5 on 3? Gotta have the killer instinct there!

Comon Sens, let's turn this giant ship around

Which looked very different than vs the Isles... why did we play it like that last game? It resulted in a loss damnit
After the Isles game, Green said the PK needed some work. Then in the post-game interview for this game, he said they worked on PK during practice, and it showed.

Ullmark is the real deal. Amazing to see what competent goaltending can do for a team. This is what I felt the key to getting these guys off the ground was, so nice to see it coming around even if late. Shame Forsberg likely gets a game this weekend.

Good to see progress on the PP and PK.

Total sham on that Ullmark/Ref play. Looked like it was going to be an odd man break and then bam, in the back of the net. Refs should be able to blow it down when it's that egregious imo. Imagine if that were a tie game, important game, playoffs even, and instead of a 2on1 for Ottawa it's in the back of their net. It's an embarrassing look that should be reversable. Ironically though, I thought it was a good end of the night reminder that it's not always smooth sailing and adversity is ahead.

Time to win in Carolina.
I think there is a real chance ullmark plays both games.
