The crowd chanted the Hextall thing because of the insane amount of hate Yohe and Rossi put out there, it's sad that there's a lot of fans that take what those two idiots say as gospel, but it is what it is. I don't think they'll chant Fire Sullivan at all, they'll likely chant Fire Dubas or hate on Karlsson because that's what those two idiots have been pushing.
Dostal is a fantastic young goalie, in one of the goalie rankings for young goalies, Blomqvist was compared to him, which seemed odd since both are not that far apart in age at all. I am curious how Zegras plays, he just doesn't seem like he wants to be in Anaheim at all and Verbeek won't trade him. But he might suddenly feel like getting up for this game against Sid.
Ryan Strome and his brother usually have good games against the Penguins, he has 18pts in 35 career games against the Pens. Watch this be the game where Cutter and Vatrano have multiple goal games.

I'm kind of curious how they do with 2nd line minutes/usage as Doc-Eller-Puustinen is actually a fantastic line, if Sullivan allows them to play together for the entire game and get more than 10mins.
Puljujarvi getting healthy scratched while not playing poorly at all is just typical Mike Sullivan idiocy. I mean Hayes if anyone, deserves to be a healthy scratch after the last game or even Bunting, but Puljujarvi? He really doesn't want to see JP succeed at all.
Don't forget Sullivan beefing with Cole and wanting Brassard and having the love and support of Mario and Burkle before the romance with FSG. That trade that JR let Sullivan dictate was one of the starts to the downfall of Sullivan and having his way.
JR let Sullivan force his hand trading Reaves, Cole, the 1st, Gustavsson, to bring in Brassard who was absolute ass, a player that Sullivan had talked up and loved his game only to misuse him and realize he was never a fit in his "system." Prior to that, his dumb usage of Hagelin made JR think that was a smart idea which he immediately regretted.
Also his comments about Hornqvist in that playoffs where Sullivan felt going to the net and not using Hornqvist like that wasn't an issue as most players felt they should be going to the net anyway so they didn't need him to, lol...yeah..."It's not Sullivan's fault."

I mean sure - i guess a GM and coach could have maybe pushed us to a crapshoot playoff. Sure. I see that and I've wanted Sully fired since 19. And I dont give a shit about being first/last/anything. But we have 3 titles. We sacrificed quite a bit. It's life as we know it.

Yeah we knew this team was going to be a bubble playoff team in the later years of Sid & Geno's careers, but to be a team where the coach refuses to try new things and use youth, yeah we didn't think Sullivan would be here this long to see this shit.
It's harder for me knowing how many assets were moved to appease this coach only to see the same bias and favouritism displayed over and over again. We had a great run, but the downfall was inevitable, just the way it's gone down isn't what anyone expected.

I think they’re missing the mallard green, had they added the green I think they’d be perfect jerseys. It’s an insane amount of Orange and even worse, it quite literally is the Flyers orange.
Pens will either start hot and then give up goals late in the 1st or 2nd, or play ass in the first and then play better later in the game.
I see they chose the former.

The only good thing about the Pens powerplay is that Rust won’t be on it.
Yeah, the idiot did try Rust with Geno and Raks with Sid vs the Canucks, so there was that, but he’d have gone back to Rust with Sid later that game if Rust didn’t get hurt.
