It would be sweet to see Lindholm with Trouba on the Ducks, but we're already tight on cap, and already rich on D, and already weak on forward talent, so it kind of moves in the wrong direction.

Ya really. Ehlers is in there because the difference between Trouba and Lindholm is that large. You take him out and the deal's done because there's no incentive for Anaheim. Ehlers is great, but Winnipeg would throw him in without a second thought if it meant getting Lindholm.

Nope. Ehlers will be very difficult to pry out of the jets. He's a main piece, not a balancer. He has the chance of being a star, and GMs don't trade that type easily at the beginning of their career.

Fowler can't be the main return for Trouba. The value is bad for Winnipeg and the cap is unworkable for Anaheim.

I feel like the difference between Fowler and trouba is like the difference between trouba and lindholm.


I can't really see a move between the 2 teams involving 2 dmen, I could see Fowler being of interest if they find a good trade for trouba, and peg has a lot of good young forwards that Anaheim could use.
