That is actually pretty scary.... You should really look into that while we seem to have maybe one decent weekend left before you have no choice. There is simple tricks to see if your furnace is back drafting, if it is, fix it, please.

Yeah I'm just messing around on here, I'll definitely get it looked at. I had my heat on for a few weeks before this with no problems though so it'd be weird for it to start acting up now

OK folks this is it...finally the night when this overly complex swarm scheme gets executed to perfection...
...and if it doesn't...lucky for us Blackwood is gonna turn in his first truly heroic goaltending performance in years to bail them out...
...screw it, both will happen. Blackwood gets the shutout and Devils win 6-0. Hughes and Bratt each with 4 points and Holtz with the hat trick. This becomes the turning point of the season, Devils go on to win 7 consecutive games and finish the season 30 points better than last year. Hughes with 100 points, Bratt with 90, Shara hits 40 goals, Holtz rookie of the year. Nemec gets called up and puts up 15 points in 9 games. Bratt signs an 8 year extension in January.

I agree that Holtz should be with Hughes, or Bratt (although one of them would have to switch sides). I don't think he has much chemistry with Hischier (yet) and he seems to think the game differently.
I would even go with..
Sharangovich Hughes Holtz
.. two trigger options for Hughes. People are afraid of their defensive game, but Rango's defence (at least in PK) is decent and Hughes is very good at takeaways.

In the hypothetical situation that Blackwood plays well tonight then they need to play him again on Thursday and let him build on it. Not wait to put him back in there on Saturday afternoon.,
I've seen a few people here act like we're contractually forbidden to play the same goalie two games in a row, like it's 1993 and Jacques Lemaire is alternating Brodeur and Terreri every other game.

I'm genuinely surprised he didn't try to pull a Costanza and just show back up on these boards and act like he was only joking about quitting being a fan of the team. I'm sure we'll see him again under a different user name at some point soon. His Ranger fandom isn't off to such a hot start.

The Devils played games against two teams not expected to make the playoffs and lost both; with many of the same players who have contributed to the losing of the past two seasons doing the exact same things.
It's tough to see how that is playing ok.
That those players will not only remain in the lineup but likely receive the bulk of the ice time is doubly frustrating.
So how good would the players have to be to run Ruff's system properly? Do you see the NYI running it well for example? I'm sure Lou would love to have nobody in the slot. NJ has as much talent as many teams in the middle of the league. There is seemingly more to it than that. Lack of accountability maybe but just blaming the players is just oversimplified.
