So after the Isles win in regulation tomorrow, the Flames will be back in control of their own fate.

The odds may not be forever in our favour, but if we can somehow run the table with our games in hand, starting with the VGK on Saturday, followed by the Sharks and Ducks (again), it would set us up with a showdown with Minny and a chance to pull ahead by a point with a chance to pad that lead in another game vs. SJ after that. A lot of ifs, ands, & buts, improbable perhaps but by no means impossible. An Isles win tomorrow paired with a Flames win vs. Vegas on Sat would be YUGE

Edit: my math might be slightly off, for some reason I thought we had more games in hand than we actually do. In any case, the point still stands that we have a fighting chance, but we would basically have to go on a mini heater and hope Minny loses two of their next four, including the game against us lol
