This team needs to find a way to overcome physically dominating teams. They play well against skill teams like the Leafs and Oilers but physical teams just completely manhandle this roster. I'm not sure what the solution is but they need to figure something out.

Skinner gives a damn, again. He's the captain of this team, I don't care what the jersey says.

Skinner is the only one on our team talented enough to score when we need it most, in tough situations, through traffic, while entirely defended, and when you least expect it. Everyone else requires a lot more to go right to get it in the back of the net.

Does make you wonder how many games Ward has to play well in before you see some shift in starter strategy. Darling seems to be struggling, even though I think he's had several goals against as a result of someone being left wide open. Like the second goal. The first goal honestly just surprised him, and probably would have been a goal on many goal tenders. I still think were not seeing the Darling that started the season. I'm not sure why, but he was always just a backup (just like Ward). I'm all for a tandem. We just need both to make f***ing saves, tbh. Ward is doing well.
