When push comes to shove, Fox is gonna need a legit shutdown partner for that first pair. I like Lindy alot. Him playing big minutes against the best players in the world isn't ideal for him. He would be a great 4/5 Dman.
He's a 5 on this team. Lindgren Schneider would be great.

Gio Fox might be able to work.

Boring low event game the first 2 periods, then the big boys put the team on their back in the 3rd to get the win. One of the most satisfying developments form this season is that Kreider/Mika/Fox/Panarin have shown they have the clutch gene when needed.

Georgiev was a complete mixed bag. Some excellent saves but a few clunkers given up.

Goodrow-Chytil-Brodzinski was very good. Its almost like playing with those 2 guys rubs off on Chytil and makes him play a more straight ahead game. Gallant clearly has no use for the 4th line, all under 9 mins TOI.

Lindgren was putrid tonight and it should comes as no surprise when Drury makes a trade for a defenseman, they need one.

If I've said it once, I've said it 100 times, but Strome is fine as a 2C this year but for this team to take the next step, he needs to be replaced long-term.

Lindgren should be playing with Schneider. I think Drury pivots to Chychrun, Hampus or Chiarot as his big deadline move if none of the centers become available

At least i ranked them based on their ability. I also think Chiarot is better player than hes given credit for but i know thats not a popular opinion
Gorton bending Drury over a barrel for an overhyped, not very good stay at home defenseman would be the Ranger way, so I’m sure that’s what will go down

It should be Miller in the near term. That has to be the hope for us. Needs to play bigger, can already hang with Fox and clean it up. Then that lets Trouba get a little bit more lose with Lindgren on 2D

Just want to point out that was Golden Boy Trevor Zegras getting burned by Breadman on the game winner.
I’ll still take him here. A 20 year old center with 0.8 ppg can get burned all he wants in 3-on-3 OT for my team.

He’s 20 and he’s scoring 0.8 ppg. Don’t care what he does when they deploy him at street ball time.

Team was really lucky not to lose on the sequence right before Panarin-Fox. Mika got caught flat footed on a slow read in the neutral zone that led to a Ducks rush. It was a slow read that he should've easily read and prevented.

Maybe, idk. I'm not sure what kind of Defenseman Miller is yet. He shows as much offensive upside as Trouba, but until recently he hasn't been as physical. I think he's still figuring it out himself tbh. I do think sky is the limit for him though.
