Sucks, a bum compared to 97. This makes me look objective and smart.

Happens to the best of us. Welcome to the Follically Challenged Gentleman's Club, Geno, leave the hair gel at home.
Well now we know why he created his own hat brand and wears that hat constantly.

Ovi’s going to break the record, go right to the locker room, change and then have a private jet nearby ready to fly back to Russia. Feel like he’d be retired if he wasn’t going for this record.

I am curious how a 450lb Ovechkin does this season with beating the scoring record.

Washington had an absolute atrocious roster this past season and made the playoffs. For Dubas to see that, still feel like his roster wasn't good enough for Sullivan to get there is an infinite source of comedy.Adding PLD to his line will help a ton. Washington could be a very good team if they can somehow figure their defense out.

Not a bum compared to McDavid, but a step down. And don't YOU forget it!Sucks, a bum compared to 97. This makes me look objective and smart.
How did that work out for them? lolWashington made the playoffs by committing to their young players.
Sullivan's reaction upon hearing of this bizarre idea:Washington made the playoffs by committing to their young players.
This team is better off telling the players to go and do their own camp and have a developmental camp for the coaches instead. It kind of feels like these "development camps" are just for show.

I will not stand for this mansplaining wankbucketry you git.Development camps are to expose prospects to life in the NHL and evaluate their progress from the previous season. It's one thing to scout your players, to check up on them, etc., but it's another to work with them closely over the course of a period of time.
For older prospects, the purpose is to see how they lead. They've likely been to a couple of camps and they may be in the AHL. How do they conduct themselves around some 18-year-old just drafted in the 3rd round? How do they take ownership in drills and scrimmages?
How a player performs in prospect camp really won't have much bearing on where they're going to play in the upcoming season. Most already know they're going back to juniors, the NCAA, or whatever. Training camp is what determines whether a player close to the NHL will break through or be among the first call-ups...or get buried.
