Colorado should be all over this if he is willing to sign an extension
Going back to his last year in junior (2017) he has requested three trades and will be on his fifth team before he starts his 8th year, I feel sorry for any team that signs him long term because I doubt he’ll change his attitude.

This is new info. Before that, PLD had just expressed his desire to not sign a long term deal with Winnipeg/to go to UFAcy.

He a long with a bunch of other players are UFA/potential UFA at the end of next season and a fair amount want to hit the market to see if they can get more than what their current team is offering.
Habs would have the space to get some of them.
If they (habs) do go for PLD I wouldn't be upset, but Winnipeg isn't gojng to sell him for cheap
