Bacardi Silver and Coke Zero does the trick for me at home. Zero carbs. Diet Coke and Bacardi when I'm out on the town.

I'm pretty big on the Vodka & Sprite with a squeeze of lime when I'm out. I'm no alcoholic, but I still keep a rather healthy supply of CC, Beam, Tequila, Vodka, Bacardi and other stuff at home along with beer and cider.

The Tequila is strictly for frozen margaritas.

in the event of some survivalist situation, the food, guns and ammo will run out long before the booze does.
