I feel like the issue at this point is just Louie in general. He’s devolved to the point where he provides pretty much nothing of substance. 90% of what he says is any of:

- suggesting that nearly every Oiler goal should be subject to review

- agreeing with literally any call that the refs make on the ice

- “shooting mentality”

- “but it was screened/tipped!” (one of those infuriating people that think that basically no screen or tip goal should ever be saved)

- bullshitting with Jack
Not that I disagree with anything you’re saying about Louie specifically but the biggest problem is the two of them together. It’s these two together that go off on tangents and get away from the game. It didn’t happen with Louie and Singh and there were games last season where Jack worked with Stauffer and Jamal Mayers where it wasn’t happening either.

I’d love to see Louie gone too but the fact it hasn’t happened yet makes me think it’s just not happening. That’s why I suggested moving Louie into the booth. The two call a more focused game when they’re sitting together. If they’re going to force us to listen to them then at least give us the least annoying version of them.

I’ll add to this list

- “if you give them a chance they’ll bury you”

- “a great move by the cagey veteran”

- in general oozing and drooling over opposing teams players more than talking good things about the oilers. Like we don’t want you to be a blind homer, but you have orgasms about other teams players and sometimes talk more about them than the f***ing oilers. And you are the home broadcast team

f*** I can’t stand this buffoon

I think drive ins were the perfect places to see movies like Animal House and Slapshot for the first time. Lucky to have seen both this way, first time, and not only the people in the car laughing its the sound reverberating of the entire drive in breaking up in laughter. These movies were so good that in Twin type driveins the people on the other side would get out and come gawking as well. The side these were on was always sold out. Especially on a weekend.

Some movies were just made to be introduced in Drive In's. I really miss having those. My favorite way to watch a movie.

That's fantastic. Had a similar experience with Sausage Party at the drive-in. Mushrooms helped and the Dewalt speaker nice and loud...zero grave chairs, lightning show going on behind the screen but no rain.

My wife and I were with a mutual friend with an infectious giggle. That with the shrooms, I had tears streaming down my face with laughter. Good times
