Anyway OIlers win and Flames lose. Saturday Night Hockey doesn't get better.

In the Flames telecast: "Flames have clearly been the better team but theres the fancy stats and Preds are leading. It was 3-0 at one point. This is the same game Hrudey was saying Flames are playing so damned well. "Remember that time years ago when the Flames were the best team in the galaxy (no I don't) Well, humps Hrudey, the Flames are back there again soooooo guuuuuud soooooo fuuuun to watch. No I don't see it.

Kapanen, terrible play, absolutely awful, you CANNOT make that play up 3-0 on the road late in 2nd period. I don't recall he saw the ice after that.

6mins left Booch making a pass right up middle ice, right up broadstreet in a one goal game. I don't care it worked, CANNOT make that play.

Several Oilers not recognizing game management and where games are at. Weak game by Pickard. This game should never have been close.

The answer is Yes.

it would be nice to close out a game where they could pull back the minutes and just roll the lines though.

The Oilers utterly dominated and I really don't care about "almost" mistakes in a dominant win like that.

Oh that number is definitely getting retired. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Drai sign another contract after this 8 year one too. He’s built like Jagr.

If you watched the intermissions only, you'd be surprised to hear the Oilers played tonight

I’m starting to think Hrudey just has a low IQ. There isn’t much more of an explanation. His blind homerism once pissed me off. Now it makes me sad for him. He just doesn’t know any better (rubs his head for a noogie)

Lol Hrudey such a tool. Doesn’t matter if the flames are under Sutter and relevant or the trash fire that they are now. The dude can’t stop polishing that turd.

Yeah I noted that too earlier. "Hello Canada this is your Flames broadcast superceding an Oilers game" You know the Oilers that are SC finalists vs the hayseed Flames who are sweet nothing. Just ridiculous on the part of CBC. I guess Oilers can't be a thing...
 
Not much to complain about considering they won, but Oilers were playing with fire not bearing down on their scoring chances and making risky, ill advised defensive plays in the 3rd like they were.

I can actually see why Hyman was probably dropped to the 3rd line, he's been a bit of a puck hog in the last while. He's always been a player that plays with blinders on a bit, but even Mcdavid of two years ago would struggle to go through 3 and 4 players the way Hyman was trying to at times tonight.

Plus that he hates the Oilers. Must've been the 80's or something something.

lol at the same telecast asking Bieksa who he thinks should go in Van. Miller or Petey. He didn't say anything. I want Miller gone so that all they have is whiny Petey and the smurf.
