Seriously, I think we finish 9th or 10th in the West, with the way it looks that might be 22-25th in the league meaning we would pick in the top 10 in the first round.

Without the lottery win I don't see us dipping below 6 and I doubt we make it higher than 10.....most likely 7 to 9 range.

I like this idea... a poll on who the Jets will draft, which would combine draft position with prospect profiling.

In this poll I would guess that we draft at #9, with our selection being.... ??? (Jake Virtanen)

over the last 10 drafts, less 8th overall picks have turned into top 6/4 forwards/dmen then any other pick in the top 14 (tied with 10th overall)

obviously that's not set in stone, but i sure hope we don't pick 8th

9th worked out okay ==> Trouba.

I'd be thrilled with a repeat.

Burmi was a #8 overall pick, by the way.

For some reason, I get this feeling that this 2014 draft might be to forwards what the 2012 draft was to defensemen. 2012 is turning out to be a monster draft year for defensemen and I think that there is going to be a lot of depth among the top 15-20 forwards in 2014.

Today, I think that 10th seems most likely (going to vote now, with the benefit of more games played).

I think we catch Vancouver, but maybe not Dallas.

I think that Ottawa, Carolina and Nashville finish below us in the standings.

Most plausible range would be 8-11. Highest possible pick would be 6.

Well I don't think we'll be lucky enough to win the Draft Lottery after winning the Cup, so I picked 15-30+
