Wife and I head up tomorrow morning and are getting together with some friends and old colleagues.

Well, my travel experience is something else. Arrived at the airport this morning, to find out the flight was canceled due to mechanical failure. I book a new one which leaves 4 hours later with a stop in Amsterdam. I go through customs in Amsterdam to fly to the US, and my passport is flagged. Apparently a speeding ticket still unpaid. The date was 21 June 2017. That's literally the day I moved to Austria! 51 euros. I had to pay to go through but the system breaks down. I had 35 minutes to make my connecting flight. The border police then said "what the heck. Pay it when you're back. We'll drive you to the gate".

Now in Atlanta. One more short flight to go to Dallas!
