Your franchise isn't in the optimal place when a draft lottery GDT gets your fans more excited than anything that happened all season.
Hey it wasn’t that long ago that Lightning and Avs fans were doing the same thing

Hey, we just got Taco Bell a little while ago in Finland. You know it's good when that's the top option. Seriously though, there must be a better one... I just haven't found it yet.
Taco Bell protip: order whatever it is without lettuce and toss it in the oven for 10 minutes at 350 degrees when you get home. Much improved.

My BIL and I once stopped at a "Mexican" place in upstate NY - probably Utica/New Hartford. As LA natives, we definitely LOVED the side of Rice-A-Roni Mexican rice.

Outside of So Cal and Texas, pickins are certainly slim.
Some places here make Mexican or tex-mex food like they've only ever seen it on tv and don't know what it's supposed to taste like.

Lack of good Mexican food and Asian food is the one thing I am struggling with in Tennessee.
That sucks man. My problem here is confined just to Mexican food. I can walk to Peruvian, Salvadoran, Korean, Indian (four different kinds), Pakistani, Ethiopian, Japanese, Italian, Hawaiian, and any number of burger/BBQ joints. But there's just no Mexican to be had. So my situation's not bad but when you spend as much time thinking about the perfect breakfast burrito as I do, it stands out.

Point taken.

I'm honestly more worried about SJ or LA moving ahead of us than I am us dropping lol. As I said before I want Clarke and I think there's a very good chance he doesn't go top 2, so I'm not too concerned about where we pick, though #1 is obviously ideal. Just don't want the Sharks or Kings passing us.

I am not on board with Clarke I really really doubt he goes in top 3.
But yeah, I am afraid of the SJ and LA
Like I put it in the OP, combined they have a better chance winning the lottery than we do. So your worries are legit

Most Mexican food restaurants in the U.S. are an Americanized version of Mexican food. It is a bit different south of the border, with many regional cuisines. If you want to try something different in Mexican in the U.S. go to Albuquerque or points north in New Mexico and southern Colorado. My Lord that food can be spicy hot. While visiting, after lunch one day I had our host take us to the drugstore for Rolaids or Tums. I was literally sweating as I finished my meal. And that was after scraping off some of the hot sauce.

I can live with the sharks moving up. They are pretty rough as far as jr aged prospects go and inevitably will start to pick new franchise type players.

la on the other hand would be painful since they already have such a highly regarded system and they need a top dman.

It is however, funny to pick behind them and nab better / comparable players though

Are we still venting ITT? I've developed an issue with my ear that is causing an obnoxious amount of swelling, right down into my throat and jaw. Likely caused by a bad habit of falling asleep wearing earbuds. No relief for awhile until I get in for a procedure, although a 1st overall pick would be a decent distraction

I have a bet with my buddy who's a Sharks fan: the fan of the team with the lower draft pick has to wear a jersey of the opposite team to a game. Your worry is my worst case scenario.

Could be tonsillitis. Feel if there are rough patches on the back, upper part of your throat.

Should I stay awake and watch this thing or go to bed? I just don't want to be disappointed again. I know the odds are against Anaheim and I can just imagine it when they start to reveal the draft order and the Ducks drop to 4th and I know what the feeling is like. Though, at least after today we know the order and don't have to wait for it anymore so that will be a relief.

Have you tried stabbing your ear with a sharp instrument?

Wouldn't mind SJ or LA passing us up this year due to the type of draft it is. Next year would suck though because they'll probably be bad enough to take advantage of the 10 slots
