I feel like Seattle will take a d-man since they're an expansion team and need to build from the back end out, so maybe Beniers is available if Bob wants him.
Hey I’ll take 2 or 3 next year toowe're never getting a #1 pick period
just pointing out how next year's draft would've been the time to get it
yeah, even picking #3 next year will land a potential franchise player in lambert/savoieHey I’ll take 2 or 3 next year too
So Eklund, Clarke, Hughes with an outside chance of Beniers...?
Yep we’ll get a solid player.... and I put powers in range of all those players too. Not worried bout the draft choice.Beniers
Eklund
Hughes
Clarke
Agreed,I feel fairly certain that Power will not be passed on twice, but after that I think we could still end up with anyone
They def want a player to build around... I wonder if your Seattle do you try to be kinda bad the first 2 years to try and end up top 3 in 2022 and 2023? I’d strongly consider iti wouldn't be too surprised if seattle ended up taking eklund
Still think #3 would be a very attractive piece.#1 would’ve went a long way for eichel trading currency
Buffalo already has 1OA. So if we would have gotten it instead, they would have gotten either 2 or 3... so I mean, it's not really any different.#1 would’ve went a long way for eichel trading currency
That’s frustrating how Seattle wins the lottery and then oh by the way we’ll be stealing a player off your roster as well.

We'll still get a good player so it's a win, but it is hard to ignore the bad luck of being the only team that moved up or down the list. pretty ridiculous.
Also I looked quickly and could be wrong by a bit, but I think a western conference team has only won the draft lottery 9 times in 26 years now, and only 6 different western conference teams have actually won the draft lottery out of those 9 times. Also, because of trades/limits on # of spots that could be moved up, only 5 different western conference teams have actually picked 1st overall in those 26 years, and one of those was Columbus, who got it by trading up with Florida and is no longer in conference.
I'm not saying it is rigged, but I don't think the results spread out over all of those years look all that fair either.
so no one's gonna mention how another taylor hall team just won the lottery?
