Bruins can probably get away with beating the Blackhawks, but it’s going to be pretty important to lose to the Penguins and Devils to finish the season.

Good thing is both Chicago and Pitt won’t be resting anyone for the playoffs, and the Bruins also hit their quota for goals in a month last game, so they should be safe.

Also not to sure Seattle will get back in the win column

It’s actually been more of a pleasure watching and rooting for the teams around us to win. Watching the Bruins I am way more conflicted with wanting to win and also getting the highest draft pick possible

I agree. Baring any surprise I don't think Seattle wins another game:

Golden Knights
Blues
Kings

Is a pretty tough stretch. They recently just beat the Kings, but I don't think they beat the Kings twice in a week.

The only reason for hope is the Kings and Golden Knights are very much locked into their playoff spot, much like the Devils were against the Bruins. However, I don't see them taking a game off like the Devils did because they're good teams.

As is we are relying on the Flyers to get one more point. I’d feel a heck of a lot better if we just got 1 point behind the flyers and then got no more points at all. There are so few games left at this time.

Flyers remaining schedule:

Islanders
Senators
Blue Jackets
Sabres

I think they can get a couple points out of those games. Hopefully. They've won 4 of their last 5. Torts leaving was the best thing that happened for the Bruins tank.

Nice. That helps. Our schedule on the other hand doesn’t really help. We could legitimately ‘Mayo’ the final 3 games. I know you prefaced it by we could afford to but it sure will make it uncomfortable.

No more winning stunts flyers helped us big time now throw an egg at td garden against hawks. This is franchise altering. Put in korpi and play pasta only when we're shorthanded. 😃
I think a top 4 pick would get them that franchise player Donny. You have Schaefer, Misa,Frondell Hagens ..After that you still get a good player but a shade below these guys I would imagine.Time will tell though because stranger things have happened.Feels good in the running.

Preface this by saying that film is not live…but I did not love Martones skating on film. I don’t know how it will translate, but you can see his skating relative to his level is not exceptional by any means.

For that reason I’d be out on him. On top of that there’s a lot of”intangible” stuff with him in his reports.

I want tangibles. “dynamic skill”, “fast”, “elite IQ”, “great playmaker”. Tired of always chasing the 200 foot guy at the expense of skill. May change my mind but ny wish list is one of Misa, Hagens or Frondell.
I would take Misa over Martone but he is the only one, the idea of being gift wrapped the next Brady Tkachuk and not taking him because his intangibles are better than his tangible doesn't fly with me.

Lysell has tangible and will never be an NHL top 9 player or regular,Spooner had tangibles, a guy going in the top five has skill, if the rest of his game is better I would take him in a heartbeat. All that said, Misa is still the pick I want or the pick dealt for a Byfield type return.
