Embrace the tank !I hope the go on a win streak just to fu k with everyone who wants them to tank the rest of the season,

Don’t set yourself up. If they don’t drop in the lottery I’ll be happy. If they get the 1st, keep it and don't chose Schaefer I'll be disappointed. Take the best player available, always.
If you want to actively root against your franchise getting better in the future nothing is stopping you. I guess a big win tonight against Carolina would give some sort of small sugar rush or something.I hope the go on a win streak just to fu k with everyone who wants them to tank the rest of the season,

I know losing is better for the long term as it gets us the best chance to get the best player available. However, whenever I watch I always find myself wanting them to win..I get it, but actively rooting for them to lose is anathema for a lot of fans
And suck for another decade, sounds fun.I hope the go on a win streak just to fu k with everyone who wants them to tank the rest of the season,
it’s a couple of weeks. The people who want them to try to be the worst team in the league next year for McKenna are the ones out to lunch.I get it, but actively rooting for them to lose is anathema for a lot of fans
It is f***ig embarassing.Embrace the tank !
I just don't believe in actively rooting for the team to fail just so you can feel better. Also, people acting like this draft will "save" the franchise is living in a different universe. Lofty expectations usually don't come to fruition.Oh cool the mindset of rooting for your team to win or you’re a “bad fan”. Let me guess, you’re rooting for them to win the last 6 games so, what, they can finish third last in the East instead of last? What possible good could come from that happening? Seems like a non serious post
We're not rooting for them to lose just so we feel better. It's to get a chance at selecting a better prospect that can help the team down the road. With the current state of the team, the future is more important than the present. Like it or not, that's the reality the team is in right now.I just don't believe in actively rooting for the team to fail just so you can feel better. Your not actually rooting for them to lose, your rooting for them to get a higher pick.I get it, but actively rooting for them to lose is anathema for a lot of fans
You actually are. Also, thinking that some draft pick is going to "save" the franchise is ridiculous. We're not rooting for them to lose just so we feel better. It's either this or keep sucking for several yearsIt is f***ig embarassing.
Not even close hahaha. It's either this or keep sucking for several years
We actually aren't. I also don't think any one draft pick will save the franchise but it's a step in the right direction. You actually are. Also, thinking that some draft pick is going to "save" the franchise is ridiculous.
Well at least we agree on one thingWe actually aren't. I also don't think any one draft pick will save the franchise but it's a step in the right direction.
Well one thing for certain is a lineup full of Patrick Brown types, sure and the hell isn't. So why not be optimistic and look at the bright-side of this disastrous season and look forward to the draft. That's what I m choosing to do, because I like the chances of a player picked in this years draft, helping this franchise moving forward than any current Bruin playing tonight other than David Pastrnak. You actually are. One can be optimistic about the future without actively rooting for the team to lose the rest of the season and getting pissed off if they actually win a game or two. People need to stop thinking the draft alone is going to improve the team. We've seen the draft screwed up numerous times and we've seen high picks completely bust.Well one thing for certain is a lineup full of Patrick Brown types, sure and the hell isn't. Literally no one is saying that. It’s a strawman. The probability of a 4th overall pick helping the Bruins in a big way versus the 8th overall pick is huge especially this year, not to mention the big increased odds of getting a top two pick. I’d like the Bruins to be better in future, therefore I root for the higher probability of impact. You thinking the 4th pick in the draft is going to do all this is fantasyland shit.Literally no one is saying that. It’s a strawman. I think there is a higher chance of the 4th overall pick being an elite player than the 8th overall player yes. How could anyone disagree with that? You thinking the 4th pick in the draft is going to do all this is fantasyland shit.
